In early 2014, The USS Rankin Association acquired the Eldredge letters from Frances' estate, intending to make them available online for historical researchers and anyone else interested in shipboard life during WWII. After most of the 235 original letters were scanned, they were donated to the Spinelli Archives at Plymouth State University.
